Racing at Chester Chester Racecourse, also known as 'The Roodee', is the oldest Racecourse in the UK dating back to the sixteenth century, the site itself dates back to Roman times. It is a glamorous, fun-filled festival attracting a loyal clientele, including serious race-goers and leisure spectators from near and far.
